Horned Searobin [Bellator militaris]
Description
The Horned Searobin is a species of fish in the family Triglidae. They inhabit the Western Atlantic, from North Carolina in the USA to Brazil, including the Gulf of Mexico. They are known for their horn-like projections on their head. They live on sandy or muddy bottoms at depths between 18 to 146 meters. Their diet consists mainly of small fish and invertebrates.
