Hooked Tooth Shark [Scapanorhynchus puercoensis]
Description
The Hooked Tooth Shark, an extinct species of shark, lived during the Paleocene era. Like the Goblin Shark, the Hooked Tooth Shark had an elongated snout and large sharp teeth. The teeth of this shark had a unique hook-like shape, from which it gets its name. The size of this shark is not known, but it is believed to have been a medium-sized shark. Its habitat was likely the deep-sea environments.
