Hawaiian Sand Lance [Ammodytoides idai]
Description
Also known as the Hawaiian sand lance, Ammodytoides idai is a species of sand lance native to the central Pacific Ocean around the Hawaiian Islands. This species inhabits sandy areas of reefs and has an elongated, slender body adapted for burrowing.
