Hawaiian limpet [Leptothyra hawaiiensis]

Description
The Hawaiian limpet, or Leptothyra hawaiiensis, is a species of sea snail in the family Colloniidae. This species is endemic to the Hawaiian Islands, where it lives in the intertidal zone on hard substrates. Hawaiian limpets are small in size, usually not exceeding 10mm, and have a smooth, cone-shaped shell which can vary in color from brownish to greenish.
