Greyface Moray Eel [Ephalophis greyae]
Description
The Greyface Moray Eel, or Ephalophis greyae, is a species of marine fish in the family Ophichthidae. It is a marine, tropical eel which is known from the eastern Indian Ocean, including Rowley Shoals and Scott Reef, Western Australia. It dwells at a depth range of 10 - 60 metres, and leads a demersal way of life. Greyface Moray Eels are recognized by their elongated, snake-like bodies and their characteristic grey faces.
