Greenland cod [Gadus ogac]
Description
The Greenland cod, also known as the Ogac, is a relatively small species, typically measuring only up to 77 centimeters. It is found in the Arctic waters around Greenland and northeastern Canada. The species prefers colder waters and is usually found at depths of between 15 and 300 meters. It is similar in appearance to the Atlantic cod, but can be distinguished by its smaller size and narrower chin barbel.
