Green Jobfish [Aprion virescens]
Description
The Green Jobfish, or Aprion virescens, is a species of snapper native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. It is found in both open waters and coral reefs, usually at depths between 30 to 70 meters. The species is known for its greenish-blue color, and it can grow up to 120 cm in length. It is a solitary species and has a diverse diet consisting of fish, crustaceans, cephalopods, and algae.
