Greater Snow Petrel [Pagodroma confusa]
Description
The Greater Snow Petrel is a proposed, but not widely accepted, species of Snow Petrel. It is distinguished from the Snow Petrel by its slightly larger size. The existence of this species is controversial and not universally acknowledged in the scientific community. If it exists, it is believed to be found near or in the same habitats as the Snow Petrel, in the Southern Ocean and Antarctica.
