Grand Ampharete [Ampharete grandis]

Description
Ampharete grandis, or the grand ampharete, is a species that inhabits the Pacific Ocean. It has a long, thin body with numerous segments, each equipped with two rows of bristles. It is usually found in sandy or muddy substrates and prefers depths of 50-2000 meters. It is a filter feeder, consuming small particles from the water column.
