Description
The Scabricola aureola is commonly known as the Gold-mouth Frog Shell. It is a species of sea snail that inhabits the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean along Aldabra, Madagascar and the Mascarene Basin. The shell of this species is characterized by its golden aperture, which gives it its common name. The shell is usually white to cream in color with a smooth and glossy texture.
