Giant Mountain Sponge [Spongia montis gigantis]

Description
The Giant Mountain Sponge (Spongia montis gigantis) is a larger variant of the Mountain Sponge. It shares many of the same characteristics as its smaller counterpart, but can grow up to 2-3 meters in height, making it one of the largest known sponges. Its porous body serves as a habitat for many smaller marine species.
