Description
This species of limpet is distinctive for its two black spots, one on each side of the 'keyhole'. It is found in the Pacific Ocean, from the Gulf of California to Peru. It is known to inhabit rocky substrates in the intertidal and shallow subtidal zones. It is a herbivore, feeding primarily on algae.
