Fiordland Penguin [Eudyptes pachyrhynchus]
Description
This species has a robust build and a thick beak. They have a prominent yellow crest starting at the base of the beak and extending over the eyes. The Fiordland penguin inhabits the dense temperate rainforests of New Zealand's South Island. They are known to be shy and usually nest in colonies located in forests or scrub. Their diet includes various species of fish and squid.
