False Shark Ray [Rhynchobatus laevis]
Description
The False Shark Ray, also known as the Smooth Guitarfish, is known for its smooth, thick skin and broad, angular snout. This species is grayish-brown on the dorsal surface and white on the ventral surface. They inhabit the coastal waters and estuaries, living on sandy or muddy bottoms. Their diet consists mainly of small fish and crustaceans.
