False Cleanerfish [Aspidontus taeniatus]
Description
The False Cleanerfish, also known as the Bluestreak Cleaner Wrasse Mimic, is a species of combtooth blenny found in coral reefs in the Pacific and Indian oceans. This species reaches a length of 12 centimetres (4.7 in). It is a mimic of the bluestreak cleaner wrasse. This allows the false cleanerfish to get close to other fish, and then bite them, removing a chunk of skin or scales.
