Erect-crested Penguin [Eudyptes sclateri]
Description
This penguin is characterized by its erect yellow crest and its very slim build. They are one of the larger species of crested penguins. The erect-crested penguin is found in the subantarctic region, specifically on the Antipodes Islands and the Bounty Islands. They are known to be less social than other penguin species and their diet consists primarily of krill and squid.
