Eastern Carp Gudgeon [Hypseleotris spp.]
Description
The Eastern Carp Gudgeon is a small freshwater fish that is native to eastern Australia. This species generally prefers slow-flowing or still waters with plenty of cover. They are characterized by a slender body, large eyes, and a slightly downturned mouth. Eastern Carp Gudgeon are usually a mottled brown or green color.
