Description
The Drumfish, also known as the Highfin Drum, is a marine species that belongs to the Sciaenidae family. The species can be identified by its elongated body and high dorsal fin. It is primarily found in the western Atlantic Ocean, specifically from the Gulf of Maine to northern Argentina, as well as in the Gulf of Mexico. Drumfish typically inhabit muddy or sandy bottoms in coastal waters and estuaries.
