Dark Olive [Ancilla ventricosa]

Description
The Dark Olive is a type of sea snail with a dark brown to black shell. The shell is generally smaller than that of Ancilla ancilla, usually reaching a maximum length of 3 cm. The shell is also more robust and less elongated. This species is commonly found in tropical waters, often buried in sandy or muddy substrates. It is a nocturnal predator, feeding mainly on bivalves and small crustaceans.
