Dab [Limanda limanda]

Description

The dab is a species of flatfish, native to the northeastern Atlantic and Baltic Sea. It is a demersal species that lives on sandy and muddy bottoms at depths of up to 100 meters. It can grow up to 40 cm in length, and is characterized by its small mouth, large eyes, and smooth skin. The dab is a popular fish for commercial and recreational fishing.
