Description

The Cylindrical Dogfish, also known as Gulper Shark, is a species of deep-sea dogfish shark in the family Centrophoridae. It inhabits the continental slopes and seamounts of temperate and tropical regions worldwide. This species is characterized by its long, cylindrical body, large, green eyes, and rough, sandpaper-like skin. It can grow up to 1.6 meters in length and is known for its slow, deliberate movements. It is a solitary creature and feeds on small fish and invertebrates.
