Description
The Curve-back Flathead, or Bembrops curvatura, is a marine species found in the western Atlantic from the Gulf of Mexico to Brazil. This species is found at depths ranging from 28 to 366 meters. It is characterized by its unique curved back profile and its large, wide head. Its color ranges from dusky to dark brown, often with irregular blotches.
