Description
Cossura soyeri is a species of marine annelid worm in the Cossuridae family. It was first described by Jean-Loup d'Hondt in 1977. This species is found in the North Atlantic Ocean, particularly in the Bay of Biscay. Cossura soyeri lives in burrows in soft substrates such as sandy mud and can reach a length of about 1 cm. Its distinguishing features include a cylindrical body with a blunt head, a short proboscis, and numerous short, lateral fleshy processes.
