Cossura pygodactylata, also known as the 'cossure à pied en rame,' is a species of marine annelid worm in the Cossuridae family. It was first described by Jones in 1956. This species is known to inhabit the Mediterranean Sea, specifically the areas around Italy. Its habitat comprises of muddy bottoms where it burrows. The adult worm measures about 2 cm in length. A distinguishing feature of Cossura pygodactylata is its paddle-like foot, which gives the species its common name.
