Common nerite [Septaria lineolata]

Description
A species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Neritidae, the nerites. It is found in a marine environment within a tropical climate. They live intertidally on rocks. The shell of this species is globose and turbinate, with a short spire and a large body whorl. It is light to dark brown, with numerous white or yellowish axial lines. It has a calcareous operculum.
