Description
The Club-Tipped Anemone, scientifically known as Peachia quinquecapitata, is a sea anemone species that inhabits the Pacific Ocean, particularly the coasts of North America. It burrows into the sand or mud, leaving only its oral disc and tentacles exposed. The tentacles are usually a dark color and tipped with lighter-colored, bulbous clubs, hence the common name. It is nocturnal and feeds on small organisms.
