Description
Stellaria pubera, commonly referred to as Chickweed, is a species in the family Caryophyllaceae. It is native to the eastern United States and is typically found in forests and along roadsides. This plant is a perennial herb with slender stems and opposite, ovate leaves. The flowers are white and have five deeply notched petals. Although it is not a marine species, it is often found in moist, shaded areas.
