Boa Dragonfish [Stomias boa ferox]
Description
The Boa Dragonfish is a subspecies of the Scaleless Dragonfish and shares many of its characteristics. Found in deep-sea environments, it utilizes bioluminescent photophores for hunting and communication. Its body is slender, reaching up to 40 cm in length, and features a large jaw with fang-like teeth.
