Description

The Blue Parrotfish is a species of parrotfish found in the Atlantic Ocean. It is notable for its uniform bright blue coloration and its beak-like jaws, which it uses to scrape algae off of rocks and coral. This species inhabits coral reefs and seagrass beds, and can grow up to 75-120 cm long.
