Blackedge Moray [Gymnothorax nigromarginatus]
Description
The Blackedge Moray, Gymnothorax nigromarginatus, is a marine eel species that is native to the Eastern Central Pacific Ocean. They are characterized by their dark brown or black body color with a distinctive black margin along the edge of the dorsal and anal fins, hence their common name. They inhabit rocky reefs and boulders, and are known to hide in crevices during the day, emerging at night to hunt. Their diet consists mainly of fish and crustaceans.
