Black Guillemot [Cepphus grylle]
Description
The Black Guillemot or Tystie is a medium-sized seabird of the family Alcidae, native throughout northern Atlantic coasts and eastern North American coasts. It is black with a white wing patch, easily identified by its bright red feet. It breeds on rocky shores, cliffs and islands, laying eggs in crevices or holes.
