Bicolour parrotfish [Cetoscarus bicolor]
Description
The Bicolour parrotfish is a species of parrotfish found in coral reefs in the Indian and Pacific oceans. Adults are typically green and pink, or blue and pink, with males having a more complex pattern. They are sequential hermaphrodites, starting life as females and changing sex to males. They are known for their ability to change their colors according to their mood, time of day, activity or environment, and for their role in bioerosion.
