Bering Hake [Ventrifossa macroptera]
Description
The Bering Hake is a species of morid cod. It is native to the northern Pacific Ocean, specifically the Bering Sea, the Sea of Okhotsk, and the waters around the Kamchatka Peninsula. It can be found at depths of 200 to 1000 meters. Its body is elongated and slender, with a large mouth and large eyes.
