Beadlet Anemone [Actinia equina]

Description
The Beadlet Anemone is a common sea anemone found on rocky shores around all coasts of the UK. It is a hardy species that can tolerate a wide range of conditions. This anemone has short tentacles and a bright red, brown, green or orange body. When the tide is out, they pull in their tentacles completely, looking like a blob of jelly. They feed on small invertebrates and algae.
