Atlantic Sturgeon [Acipenser oxyrinchus]
Description
The Atlantic sturgeon has a range from New Brunswick, Canada to the eastern coast of Florida. This species can reach lengths up to 4.3 meters and has a unique bluish-black color. Atlantic sturgeon are anadromous, meaning they migrate from their ocean habitat up rivers to spawn.
