Atlantic Isognomon [Isognomon alatus]

Description
This species, also known as the 'leaf oyster', is native to the western Atlantic Ocean. It is found in shallow waters, usually in mangrove forests or seagrass beds. The Atlantic Isognomon has a thin, elongated shell that resembles a leaf. They are suspension feeders, filtering the water for plankton and other tiny organisms.
