Antarctic Tubeworm [Thelepus antarcticus]

Description
Thelepus antarcticus, or the Antarctic tubeworm, is a species native to the Southern Ocean and Antarctic waters. It is adapted to extreme cold conditions. It has a dark reddish-brown body that is segmented and covered with setae. It builds tubes in the substrate where it resides and filter feeds.
