Description

The Angular Trough Shell is a marine bivalve mollusk that belongs to the Mactridae family. This species can be identified by its strong and thick shell which is white or light yellow, often with brown periostracum. It is usually found in sandy substrates in the subtidal zone. It is distributed in the Western Central Pacific, specifically in the Philippines.
