Description
A marine worm species of the Aciculites genus. It is distinguished by its eye-like markings along its body, which are actually sensory organs. Aciculites oculatus inhabits the sublittoral zone and is known for its burrowing behavior in sandy or muddy substrates. Like other Aciculites, it possesses bioluminescence.
