Description
Pinjalo pinjalo, commonly known as the pinjalo snapper or simply pinjalo, is a species of snapper native to the Indian Ocean and the western Pacific Ocean. It is typically found in areas with rocky or coral reefs but can also inhabit lagoons and estuaries. This species can reach a length of 50 cm. It is of minor importance to local commercial fisheries and can also be found in the aquarium trade.
