Fringelip Mullet [Liza haematocheila]
Description
The Fringelip Mullet is a species of ray-finned fish in the family Mugilidae. It is a marine and brackish water fish that is native to the western Pacific Ocean, from Japan to Vietnam, but has also been introduced to the Black Sea and the Mediterranean. It is often found in estuaries and coastal waters. It feeds on a variety of food items, including algae, detritus, and small invertebrates.
