Thinlip Mullet [Liza ramada]
Description
The Thinlip Mullet is a species of ray-finned fish in the family Mugilidae. It is a marine, brackish, and fresh water fish found in the Eastern Atlantic, from Norway to Morocco and the Azores, including the Mediterranean and Black Sea. It is also found in the western Indian Ocean. It prefers coastal areas, estuaries, lagoons, and rivers. It feeds on algae, detritus, and small invertebrates.
