Sharp-nosed Rattail Louse [Neobrachiella spinicephala]

Description
The Sharp-nosed Rattail Louse, or Neobrachiella spinicephala, is another species of parasitic copepod. These are typically found in the Atlantic Ocean, attaching themselves to rattails and other deep-sea fish species. Like their Pacific counterparts, they also have a complex life cycle and undergo significant morphological changes at each stage. The species is identifiable by its sharp, pointed head.
