Longspine searobin [Chiridius longispinis]

Description
The Longspine searobin is a marine species commonly found in the Eastern Central Pacific. It has a long body with a large head and a long spine extending from the dorsal fin. The body is mostly brown in color with a lighter underside. This species is known to dwell in sandy or muddy bottoms of shallow coastal waters.
