Giant Tanaid [Gigantapseudes maximus]

Description
This species is the largest of the Tanaidacea order, hence its name. It is a deep-sea crustacean usually found in the Atlantic Ocean. The Giant Tanaid has a hard, elongated body and is distinguished by its large size, reaching up to 8 cm in length. It inhabits muddy bottoms and is known to create burrows.
