Description
Thymopides grobovi, commonly known as the banded shrimp, is a species of marine crustacean found in the deep waters of the North Atlantic Ocean. This shrimp is characterized by a white body with a series of red bands. It has a well-developed rostrum and large, robust pincers. The species is known to inhabit muddy or sandy bottoms, typically at depths between 2000 and 4000 meters. It is an omnivorous species, feeding on small invertebrates and detritus.
