Thymopides [Thymopides]

Description

Thymopides are deep-sea lobsters found in the waters of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. They are characterized by their slender bodies, relatively small claws, and a smooth carapace. These lobsters live in deep water, often at depths exceeding 400 meters, where they inhabit muddy or sandy substrates. Thymopides species are not widely known outside of scientific communities due to their deep-sea habitat and limited commercial interest.
