Seven-gilled Bomber Worm [Swima fulgida]

Description
The Seven-gilled Bomber Worm is another deep-sea species of polychaete worm in the genus Swima. Like other bommer worms, it is also capable of releasing bioluminescent 'bombs' to distract its predators. It is found at similar depths to other Swima species, typically between 1000 and 3000 meters. Its distinguishing feature is the seven pairs of gills, more than any other known Swima species.
