Description
Aphrodita aculeata, or the Common Sea Mouse, is a marine worm found in the North Atlantic Ocean. It is known for its unique bristly appearance, with a body covered in long, iridescent setae. This species inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms, usually at depths of 10 to 40 meters, but it can be found as deep as 3000 meters. It is a nocturnal scavenger, feeding on small invertebrates.
