Green Fireworm [Eurythoe complanata]

Description
The Green Fireworm is a widely distributed marine polychaete worm in tropical maritime environments. It is known for its bright green color, hence the name. The Green Fireworm is found in the shallow waters of coral reefs, often hiding under stones or in crevices. They are nocturnal creatures and are known to be aggressive when disturbed, releasing venom-filled bristles that can cause severe pain. They feed on corals, algae, and other small marine invertebrates.
